About the brand
Gareth Pugh came out of Sunderland through Central Saint Martins, and his degree collection of 2003, joints swollen with balloons, put him on the cover of Dazed before he had a label. He showed his first solo collection in London in 2006, club-built and sculptural, and the same year sold a 49% stake to Rick Owens and Owens' Italian producer Olmar and Mirta, which moved his production to the same Concordia factory that makes Rick Owens mainline. He took the trademark back in 2020.

Care guide
Hand wash cold or dry clean, never tumble dry, and dry flat. The sheer shoulder panels snag before anything else does, so keep it clear of hook closures and rough straps, and steam rather than iron.
