About the brand
NILøS is the second line of Julius, the Tokyo label of Tatsuro Horikawa. Julius began in 2001 as a vehicle for Horikawa's film and sound projects and became a clothing line in 2004, reaching the Paris runway in 2009. NILøS followed as a second line built on simpler pieces in the same dark, technical style. The name stands for freedom and the rejection of fixed ideas.
